iPlant Open Source
From the beginning, iPlant has had a commitment to release all code we produce with an open source software license. This is enshrined in our agreement with the National Science Foundation. This page lists code that we have produced and that is currently available. It also describes details of interest.

License
Unless noted otherwise, iPlant code is released using this standard BSD license, which is an Open Source Initiative-approved license. Exceptions are noted in code repository LICENSE files.
Installation and Use
Instructions for installation, dependencies, and use for each are included in the README file for each item, or if complicated, in a separate INSTALL file.
Asking Questions and Filing Bugs
Use our iPlant Help and Discussion web forums to ask questions. Post a question in the General Questions and Discussion category and we will research the issue and get back to you.

Submitting Code
iPlant requires all outside collaborators (those not employed by iPlant) to sign and submit a Contributor License Agreement. Click for details as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions about this agreement.
