Challenge

Modeling Tools

Challenge:  Modeling framework tools are needed to support the construction, parameter estimation, sensitivity analysis, and utilization of biological models.  Doing this in a way that ensures interoperability with existing and future tools is a key challenge for current data-driven research.

The Modeling Working Group is focused on creating modeling tools capable of taking advantage of CI and high performance computing. A modeling framework to support the construction, parameter estimation, sensitivity analysis, and utilization of models is under active development.
