Responsibilities

Martha Narro joined iPlant in March 2008. She coordinates activities across iPlant teams at all sites and manages the iPlant Collaborative Seed Projects.

Research Expertise

Martha has background in biochemistry, molecular biology, science education and computer science. Her graduate studies on the biodegradation of aromatic hydrocarbons by marine cyanobacteria and postdoctoral work bashing promoters in photosynthetic bacteria are the closest she came to plant science until she joined iPlant.
