Responsibilities

Sheldon joined the iPlant Collaborative in 2008. His primary responsibilities as the iPlant EOT Manager are:

  • Lead developer of iPlant's DNA Subway.
  • Presentation of Genomics in Education (DNA Subway and DNA Barcoding) workshops.
  • Participation in cyberinfrastructure development documentation.
  • Teaching advanced bioinformatics and iPlant cyberinfrastructure.
  • Outreach and education activities at scientific conferences, courses and tutorials.
