E-mail Print PDF

Below are details and instructions for attending the webcast for iPC kick off conference April 7th to 9th 2008:

Note: We are in the process of finalizing webcast infrastructure for the main and breakout sessions, few of the technical requirements listed below may change as we finalize.

The intention is to fully support remote participation at a fairly interactive level. All of the sessions (including breakouts) will be streamed live and will have online moderators available who will bridge between the remote and local participants and presenters. We are also investigating the integration of Voice over IP (VoIP) or telephone bridge during QA.

  1. To attend the event, please use this [Pre-registration Form]. We will email you the URL and call in details once they are available
  2. You will be able to view the presentations live (Audio+Video) and ask questions using the built in chat client (text and video) during the QA session
  3. No specialized equipment is required to attend the webcast other than a web browser with current versions of flash player and Java Runtime Environment (JRE) plugins installed
  4. No specialized networking equipment/bandwidth is required, any consumer grade broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable) and higher will suffice
  5. We will support all operating systems that have Flash player (8+) and JRE (5.0+) support e.g Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, LINUX: Ubuntu, RedHat, SUSE
  6. A test feed will be provided April 2nd or sooner to allow verification of your setup. We will email all pre registered participants the details for the test feed once it is available
  7. For sites planning to have larger groups attend the event remotely (using in house meeting rooms), please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for details on obtaining higher resolution webcast at your site
